Exotic Pets Kansas City

Gorgeous exotic store, definitely the best I’ve ever seen. You could take kids here and it would feel like going to the zoo for them. My boyfriend and I came in yesterday (literally twice because we wanted more time to look) and we were both blown away! We had adopted a snake from Miles Exotics a few months ago. The employee from Miles that we thought was so knowledgeable now works here! You can tell all the staff here really cares about what they do. They were also extremely friendly. The prices are very good yet the animals still are all so healthy and alert. I don’t think I’ll ever go to a different pet store again.

I rarely do Google reviews but I feel this one was needed. This location is fantastic for anyone beginning in the exotic hobby as well as experienced keepers. They have a wide selection of reptiles, aquatic animals, amphibians, and inverts. Their invert room is the highlight of every visit and they helped me to get into the tarantula keeping hobby. Trevor who works with the inverts was a massive help in picking my tarantula as well as setting them up in the proper housing! Trevor is honestly always fantastic to talk to, very helpful and kind. The staff in general is extremely helpful, and will always get one another to make sure you have the most experienced answer to your question. The staff here helped me pick a clean up crew for my bioactive tank and it's been thriving so far! I think they all deserve to get raises based on the care they put into not only customer service but the animals. I wish they had a bigger invert room, but their selection is still fantastic despite the smaller size of the area. If you need anything exotic pet related or even just have some questions about the hobby, I would immediately recommend this location!

What an outstanding place!! Full of caring staff and intresting rare animals. Scales and fins alike! They re-home a lot of reptiles here which is a really neat idea. I had a great time exploring their detailed, well thought-out exhibits and string of beautiful aquariums. Even if you are not looking to add a pet, I still recommend this exact place just to come explore!!! Children will be entertained for FREE and adults will truly be surprised when discovering this gem. I know I'll be back!!

Excellent store and friendly staff. Our first time here, all the tank’s were clean and lots to choose from, especially reptiles. Josh helped us and was very knowledgeable! We highly recommend this store!

You will not find a better store in the KC area for your reptiles and arachnids. The ambiance itself is enough of an experience. A perfect outing for a cold day for animal lovers. In addition, the service is top-notch. Trevor spent a good amount of time helping my son convert his terrarium to bioactive for his crested gecko. We will not go anywhere else.

The nicest pet store i have ever been in ever! They were super kind and helpful. The place was decorated very we'll! it's was beautiful and they had the biggest variety of animals I've ever seen in a pet store. Very clean and well taken care of. The animals are very lucky to have such a nice home and caretakers. Can't wait to come back and get me a awsome reptile!

Great spot to get your bugs for your critters!! Bugs are always a great quilt and a great price, way cheaper than Petco that’s for sure. Staff is awesome and you get points with your purchases that give you discounts in the future! My go to pet store if I have to shop at a brick and mortar store.

Oh my what a awesome find today. We had gone to the reptile show and had saw his booth but the shop is awesome. They even have baby preying mantis how cool. And that terrarium for the green tree pythons omg how freaking awesome that was. Great environment for all the animals and well kept and clean. And very knowledgeable about what they have and how to bring it home. Go check it out.
